. Through Bible-based preaching, community outreach and the distribution of Christian literature, our aim is to make people aware of the great importance of the Christian message of salvation. Indeed, this is the most important and urgent message that anyone could ever hear.
Sin and unbelief are serious matters. All people stand condemned before the holy God because of their sin, but the glad tidings of the Gospel are that, through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ, each believer receives forgiveness and new life, and enters into fellowship with God, a glorious fellowship which will carry on into all eternity.
Until a person comes personally to Christ, however, seeking His mercy, he or she is in fact the ENEMY OF GOD (see Romans 5:10 and Colossians 1:21). That is how serious not being a Christian is, but the Gospel gives to each one who repents of sin and trusts in the Lord Jesus acceptance with God and the certain hope of salvation and eternal life.
Also, when many in our land repent and trust in Christ for forgiveness and mercy, this will have a wonderful purifying influence upon the nation as a whole. The Bible tells us that "righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34). B

is an evangelistic ministry based in the northeast of England in the Middlesbrough/Teesside area. The ministry is overseen by Pastor Peter Simpson, who has 35 years experience as an ordained minister in the historic Methodist tradition. The work of Britain's Only Hope places great emphasis on open air preaching in the public places where people gather.
The Christian gospel of salvation though faith alone in Jesus Christ is a vital message, which all people need to hear as a matter of urgency. Our nation is in a dire situation of real spiritual darkness, precisely because it has turned its back on its glorious Christian heritage, and the only remedy to bring about Britain's recovery is that many individuals within the nation turn from sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, salvation and everlasting life.
